One SIMPLE Way to Feel More Confident Today

When you have a series of setback or things not going as planned, it’s easy to feel less confident and less sure of yourself. Here’s one QUICK and easy way to build back confidence.

Consider:

  • Make a plan around something small, just for the very purpose of sticking with it.
    • Even if you don’t “have” to set limits around something, set a specific time, place, or amount just to practice following through.
    • Confidence quickly grows when you DO and see yourself do what you want.

  • Set a simple “rule” around one thing today.
    • Choose something SMALL that shows you that even if you don’t feel like it, you follow through.
    • Food is a great place to practice. For example: I can have 2 coffee today; I will have a snack at 3 pm; I can have one large bowl of snacks, and not seconds.
    • Even the smallest, stupidest thing is enough to restore confidence.

  • Repeat this daily: choose something small and simple and stick with it. Following through with small things quickly builds back confidence to take on larger things.
